I am recieving this error when I startup Windows 2000 :

The Eplpdx02 service failed to start due to the following error. The parameter is incorrect.

I know Eplpdx02 is part of my printer software but my printer works just fine. The computer otherwise works fine.

    Any answers would be helpful.

    Thanks

If you don't already have SP3 and the latest set of drivers for the device, you should try them.

Otherwise since things are working fine and only that annoying message, try going into services, locating that one, and setting it to manual start. See if the message quits and if everything still works. If so, it is evidently something you don't need. Maybe even something designed for 9X systems that won't run with an NT system.
