I received windows updates yesterday. It had a list of 7 updates and when I viewed them only 5 were checked for download. The 2 unchecked ones had identical descriptions (for .Net framework 4) but had different update numbers. It appears in my history that I downloaded one the day before with the same description except the different number again.
Should I download the other 2 or just hide them so they don't show up again. I'm thinking by not being checked Windows thinks I don't need them. Is my assumption correct?
    What would you all advise.
As always thank you for your help.

Hi Floyd. The 2 .Net Framework updates are considered recommended updates so I would go ahead and install them. If you want to be cautious you could create a restore point just in case something happens but you should be fine.

I've installed updates for .Net Framework 4 many times on different computers and never had a problem.
