    Hello,

My ISP is Juno. Sometimes when I connect I will receive ".. an error has occurred in the script on this page .. ". Not everytime, however most of the time it occurrs.

Also, when online I seem to not have a problem until I try to surf to a particular website, one I have been going to for quite some time. Just recently however, while the site is attempting to load an error is displayed. "... has performed an illegal operation ... ". The site never loads and most of the time not only can I not close the error message, but the computer locks up and will have to be restarted.

I have tried updating my system. Also, I installed the newest DirectX 9, and when I run dxdiag I will receive a message about DirectShow not performing and asking if I want to bypass it. If I choose to not bypass DirectShow, I will receive "... has performed an illegal operation ..." and the system will usually lock up.

    Thank you for your help.

For the script error, open Internet Explorer, go to Tools>Internet Options>Advanced tab. In the "Browsing" category, uncheck "Display a notification about every script error," click OK.

That script error notification is only of use to whoever wrote/owns the page since he or she is the only one who can fix it.
