RE: Trouble Opening Email Attachments

    I am a new subscriber and I have a very specific problem I hope someone can help me with.

    I recently downloaded two "security related" critical updates. Ever since then, I have not been able to open any email attachments.

    My question is: How do I uninstall these updates? (They are security updates #Q323172 and Q314147. On the update history form, there is no "uninstall" box to check.

    Does anyone have any suggestions as to how to get rid of them?

    Hi cathrohills
    Welcome to the boards. You might try Going to Tools / Options / Security

    Untick Do not allow attachments to be saved or opened that could potentially be a virus. Or sort through the ones you don't want Outlook Express to filter for you?
