[Ram: Less usable than installed?]

    W7 32, It shows I have 4gb of ramm but only 2.94 usable

    Why is this and is their a way to get it to use 4gb ?

    Additionally, if you have an onboard graphics chip as opposed to a plug in card some of the RAM will be assigned to that.

    This happens because the memory mapped devices like PCI cards, graphics cards etc. reserves the memory at boot.

    But you can give this a shot:

    Open up a Administrative command prompt and type the following command, hit enter and reboot the system, check how it goes.

    BCDEdit /set PAE forceenable
