Quik Launch Toolbar Disappears When I Start Windows

Window XP Pro- Have never had this problem- all of a sudden the quick launch toolbar is not present when I either start or restart Windows.
It does not seem to matter if it is locked or unlocked. After the operating system starts, I am able to restore the tool bar but it disappears when I start the system again.

Hi bettinag,

Go into the User CP in the upper left > left window > Edit Email and Password.

Also look in Edit options and in the main window, make sure under Messaging and Notifications that Instant Notification is the option showing in the drop down menu under Default Subsription mode.

Quick launch tool bar

The Quick Launch Repair Tool from Kellys Korner did not have an option to repair my problem. Yes, I do see the Quick Launch option when I right click on the tool bar and when I check it the tool bar is launched and active. When I turn off the machine and or restart it the quick launch tool bar is no longer launched unless I right click, select tool bars, check mark quick launch again. I have not made any changes to my system nor downloaded any new programs except for the Repair Tool from Kelly's Corner.

This is not that serious a problem except that I like my laptop to behave and it is not behaving!!
