Using NS 7.2, and everytime it sees a call for Q'Time plug-in it doesn't respond. Just gives me the big Q!

    GP LEA,

Can you give us a link to a web page where this happens, as without knowing exactly what is happening, it would be impossible to help.

Have you configured QT as your default player for all file types, or only a few specific file types? We need more information from you, before we can help...

    Thanks!

    Ramona

    Hello Gp Lea,

Which version of QuickTime do you have installed? And what version is your operating system.

Are you able to view this movie at all? With QuickTime player (stand-alone)?

It starts with a big Q, but within one second it plays the movie. Is it possible that there is a significant lag, if the user is using dialup?
I am using Deer Park, but I have all the necessary qt plugin.dlll files in my plugins folder.

That QuickTime file is quite small so it won't be a huge lag on loading. It does not use any newer technology. The file is not embedded in the webpage either. Hence it should be a good example for gplea to test if his/her QuickTime plugin is working or not.
