now adays it seems everyone is making it impossible to save any long movie clips that are on websites on your computer to play back without redownloading it.

it used to be you could dl the file, then go in your internet cache and find the file and save it and blam, you had it, now that is also not possible, somehow they have a fake file on the computer that is like 3k and points the movie that is in resident memory or saved some other way.

can anyone tell me how to save such files from sites that seem to keep you from saving the clips? Anything you find in quicktime nowadays is just like that, **** i hate quicktime

I ask myself - Why do they do that ?.

I answer myself - Its obvious that they do not want me to burn to CD.

very true, they dont want you to burn their commercials to cd, lord knows if it takes someone 3hrs do dl a movie trailer they should only be able to watch it once...

anyhow, i was able to go to the source html of the terrytate commercials site and directly dl the movie clips from that but that isn't always the case, especially with quicktime stuff hosted on their sites...
