Quicktime Issues

    Recently, for no apparent reason, videos that use quicktime do not play. I click the link to the video and after about 5 seconds of loading (I have 735K cable), it stops at the screen that shows the ripped quicktime logo.

    To try the easiest thing first, reinstall Quicktime.

    If that doesn't work, take a look at the Quicktime alternative. None of the annoying QT demands for update checking and its insistence on loading its update engine on startup.
