Today, I boot my computer and notice... the QuickLaunch is stalling. You can't access ANYTHING on it for quite some time. After a few attempted reboots, I noticed that EVERYTHING else was accessible, BUT the QuickLaunch. Any clues why?

Here's the kicker though... after about a minute I'd say, everything resumes, and QuickLaunch is accessible again... ?

I changed a few settings last night for Folder View options, but that's all. Nothing else, other than an installed progam. I can see no direct correlation (but then again, we know how Windows can be).

    Anyone, with any ideas? Thanks.

    Professional, if it matters.

    FMC,
As the QuickLaunch bar consists of shortcuts to the various programmes it contains except for the "Show Desktop" icon, I would simply delete these shortcuts and then create new one's and drag them to the QuickLaunch bar.
Another suggestion is to use system restore to roll the system back a couple of days before you noticed the problem.
