Have used Quicken for some years. It has problems, and needs fixing, and a few months ago was producing distorted results. Company agreed to take program (and all my data) without charge because they found a bug. Repaired and returned successfully. However, last year or so of data they left out; had to reenter all from paper records by hand. This was not a scam. There have been no troubles at any of the sites that connect (mutual funds, bank account, etc.) since this last event.
Now unable to get it started. Opens, but with zero information. No trouble with my accounts.
Local repair services (which I have used several times successfully) will charge $75 or more. Should I bother, or try Microsoft Money as alternative?
    Thank you.

I would prefer to NOT start from scratch with a new program I've never used....

The reapir price is bound to be less than the cost of new software and the time to learn it and set it all up...
