Quicken - Handling Bond Funds

    I have used Quicken for about 15 years (now using 2004 version) and never solved this problem.

    How do I set up a bond fund such as Vanguuard Short Term that allows check writing (I can treat it as a check account) OR a TaxFree fund that does NOT allow check writing.

    This last fund issues a check every month consisting of part TaxFree income and part reduction in principal.

    No book I have seen addresses this problem.

    Is there a Quicken help BBS that I can join?
