In Task Bar Properties, Notification Area, Customize, one can chose which icons will be Always hidden, hidden when inactive, or always shown.

HOWEVER, only the icons of the SysTray appear. Those of the Quick Launch Bar are not shown.

NOW, in the Quick Launch Bar, I have only three icons shown always, and the remaining hidden always.

QUESTION: how can I have more than three icons shown in the Quick Launch bar?

    :(

    TIA,

If you are running Win XP
    C:\Documents and Settings\Owner\Application Data\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Quick Launch

    If you run ME
    C:\Windows\Application Data\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Quick Launch

or if you can right click your mouse in the space between the Icon on the right and the arrow select OpenFolder.

You can have as many icons on the Quick Launch bar as you want. To have them all show, move the mouse cursor on the Task Bar around just to the right of the Quick Launch area until the cursor turns into a little double-headed arrow. Hold down the left mouse button and drag that to the right. That will expand the QL area so all icons show.
