When looking at a friends computer set up I noticed that the Administrator account is listed when you run control userpasswords2 but not in the welcome screen?

Also when my sister's computer was delivered there was only one acc't there, an owner account with admin status. So I create a second account which will be her's to use with limited status. Only to find another Administrator account 'buried' in the control userpasswords2 screen.

I like this feature as it prevents dimbobs from deleting or loosing the administrator account-but how does one do this?

    Thanks

It's the built in System Admin account. It can be access via Safe Mode if needed.

When xp is installed, an Administrator account is created. As is the User account. The accounts are located at c/documents & settings/. The Administrator account folder at c/docs & settings will not appear until the account has been used for the very first time, e.g. when one boots and logs in as Administrator. But, even if one has not yet logged in as Admin the Admin account is there, just not visible yet.
