Resolved Question concerning Acronis Cloud

I recently bought Acronis True Image 2013 and backed up my hard drives on it. I've selected times on different days for it to back up any new stuff on the drives and it seems to all be working well

When I bought it, I registered the program and I may have inadvertently also started to use Acronis Cloud. I'm not sure I did use it, but I've been getting messages that say my trial version of Coud is going to expire tomorrow.

Will someone please tell me what Cloud is and what it's for and whether I even need it?

The Acronis True Image seems to be all I need, but I'm not sure.

"Cloud" meaning internet . . . store your Acronis True Image 2013 backup(s) on someone else's computer that's out there in the "cloud ".
