Question about playing .m2v and m2p video files

    I have some music video files that have the extensions .m2v and .m2p and i was wondering how you play them? Normally i either use windows media player or realplayer but whenever I try to load it, it searches for a codec but never finds any. I got another one type to finally work because that time it told me what codec to look for for but these 2 don't. Thanks for any help.
