    Hi, Experter,

    I have following questions,

I got a offer of a complette PC with Sempron 2200+ and Mainboard: PC Chips M863G (333MHz FSB, CPU Temperature Protection, Graphics AGP 8x Transfer Mode (No AGP Slot), DDR333, AC97 4-channel audio, ATA/133, LAN und 4x USB 2.0, 2 x PCI Slot).

What does 'Graphics AGP 8x Transfer Mode (No AGP Slot)' mean? Does that mean I have no possibility to upgrade to a AGP graphic card?

Thanks in advance for your answer!!

I did a quick google on that board. It's an all in one style board, so it includes an on board video processor that will be fine for general desktop 2D graphics and some limited 3D graphics. But it does include an 8x AGP slot. I guess the reference you refered to may mean that no AGP card is supplied. But I'd check the specs before commiting yourself. I haven't searched far and wide, so there may be a version with no AGP expansion slot. So check, check check. If you're not a gamer, then with the onboard grapics drivers kept up to date, on board video is fine for all 2D desktop apps. and internet.
