Question about FF Bookmarks Toolbar

Hello,
I updated FF to V.20.01 and everything seemed to be okay, except....that my bookmarks toolbar does not show up any longer. Going to the View...Toolbars I see that it is checked but does not appear. So, I uncheck it, then recheck it. close FF and reopen it and the bookmarks toolbar appears as it did before the upgrade. Closing FF then reopening it and the bookmarks toolbar has disappeared, even though checking to see if it is checked to appear, it shows that it is checked, it does not appear. When the bookmarks toolbar appears, like before... the "orange FF icon" at the top is gone, when the bookmarks toolbar does not appear the "orange FF icon" appears at the top with NO bookmarks toolbar showing up.

Am I missing something or is the way the bookmarks toolbar showed up before the upgrade gone and the new orange FF icon at the top the only way to run FF now?

Any help or enlightment on this would be appreciated. Thanks.

 

In Firefox, tap (and release) the [Alt] key, select View > Toolbars > Menu Bar. Now use your mouse to right-click anywhere to the right of "Help" (on the Menu Bar) and select another bar that you would like displayed, such as the Bookmarks Toolbar.

 

Thanks, but that did NOT work for me in version 20.01. Bookmarks Toolbar is checked but does not show. Tried every different option and nothing works, it will show if I uncheck it then recheck it, but when I close Firefox and reopen it, the Bookmarks Toolbar is gone. Tired of trying to get it to show all the time so I reverted back to version 19.02 and the Toolbar shows as it should when it is checked. Must be a bug in the newest version. Thanks for trying to solve the problem though.

 

Did you try updating to 21.0 and see what happens?

 

Bookmarks and Tabs all OK here on FF20.1 Cheers Neil.
