    Hi,

I'm in the process of backing up my hard drives with Acronis True Image software. The total used space on my C: Drive is 43.1 GB. I've started to back it up onto an external drive and it seems to be backing up my C: Drive in increments instead of all at once. Is this normal for Acronis? This is what it has backed so so far:

    Local disc (C)_full_b1_s1_v1
    31,866,782 KB

Then there have been 15 increments that look like this-

    Local disc (C)_inc_b1_s2_v1
    142,181 KB

    Local disk (C)_inc_b1_s3_v1
    15,826 KB

    Local disk (C)_inc_b1_s4_v1
    29,586 KB

There have been a dozen more of these increments so far, and I expect there will be a lot more. My question is whether this is how it should be, or should Acronis have captured the entire D: Drive all at once.

    Thank you,

    bellisimo

Guessing that you accidentally chose the backup to cd option.

    Thanks you, Steve,

Can I just delete all the increments and the first backup of my C: Drive and start again, and if so, should it back up the full 43.1 GB of the drive in one image?
