I have Norton AntiVirus active. It just notified me that a email
was infected with a worm. It stated that it was not fixed and suggested that I let Norton "Quarantine" it.
    So I did.

Now, I've had several of these type messages and having not yet been able to email them Norton folks (maybe they don't want you to know where they are !) I have the following question:

When I let Norton quarantine the file or whatever - is it still stored somewhere on "MY COMPUTER ", or is it blocked from coming in to my computer?

OK, even if I knew I wouldn't know what I knew - I'm just curious.
Them mean boys sure do get my email address a lot - glad something is blocking out the bad stuff.

    Thanks for listening.

    Hello jbarker,

"When I let Norton quarantine the file or whatever - is it still stored somewhere on "MY COMPUTER ", or is it blocked from coming in to my computer? "

Its on your computer. You can manually go into the quarantine folder and delete the items yourself: main panel > reports > quarantined items > reports. A message may come up "new virus definitions have been downloaded, do you want to try to fix the items ". Right clicking on an item enables deletion.

I run NAV2002, so if 2003, it may vary, but I don't think so.

    Regards - Charles
