Q Time versions

    Bonsoir
    Using windows ME
    In control panel I have QTime 16(v 2.1.2.59) Qtime 32(same version) and QTime 5.0.1. May I delete the old ones and all their files and work only with version 5

    That should not be a problem - get rid of the early versions and update v.5 to v.6

    Hi PeteC
    I deleted the 16 bits Qtime(with cleansweep from Norton)
    Nomore possibility to remove the 32Bits version.
    I took a backup of this and also a paper copy.
    May I delete this manually.

    I am not a supporter of Cleansweep - it is better, IMO, to use the program's own uninstaller. Nevertheless I recall a similar problem with early versions of Quicktime - the 32bit version of Quicktime would not uninstall - or at least the icon remained.

    If you have a copy of Quicktime 5.0.1 on an installation disc I would uninstall Quicktime through Add/Remove Programs and then re-install 5.

    Alternatively download Quicktime 6 from here
