Hello all. I have a question concerning an all Windows 2000 network with Active Directory. When new users log in to a Windows 2000 Professional workstation, they just get local user rights. I want to know 1) How can I give all users local admin rights to their workstations from the server and/or 2) Set the workstation to default to giving new users that log on Local Admin Rights. I want to do this from the server, I'm guessing probably with Group Policies, and I don't want to put the users in the Domain Admin group because I don't want them to be able to access the servers. Thank you!!!

You are going to have to create a script using the net command to grant user rights.

There are some things you can tweak in Domain Security Policy/Local Policy/User Rights
I'll keep digging and let you know.
