Resolved Proxy server on this computer

    I've installed HitmanPro on my Windows 7 computer and it keeps telling me there is a Proxy server on this computer. It gives me an option to repair it, but is this necessary? I mean, is having a Proxy server a problem, or what exactly is it? I use Internet Explorer 11.

    Hi bellisimo. In IE11 click Tools< Internet Options< Connections tab< LAN Settings button. Is anything checked in that window?

    The only thing that has a check mark is the first item, which is Automatically detect settings.

    Go ahead and uncheck that setting and click on Ok. Then in the Internet Options window click on Ok again. Restart IE11 for the changes to take effect. See if the warning from Hitman Pro goes away.
