Hello: on this wXPsp3 pro, in msconfig under services tab there's this item I just noticed called "protected storage" by MS. Googling this led really to nothing describing what it does or why it's here & why it needs to be active on boot. Is it a MS anti-malware tool? Does it really need to be loaded on boot? I did search here too & didn't really find answer, tho the 1 thread seemed to say it does need to be working, somewhere, somehow.... Thanks.
