I seem to recollect that it is possible to include in the body of an email (created using Outlook) a question which the recipient can merely select an answer from a list of answers and the reply be made.
I am NOT referring to the ability for an email to prompt the recipient to acknowledge that they have received the email.
Maybe it was something to do with inviting people to a meeting and the recipients can merely click on "I can attend" or "Unable to attend" or something similar.
Can this be done and if so how?
    Thanks
    John

    Prompting Recipient

John, I use the feature you mention several times a week and find it useful. I have Office 2003, but am sure this feature was also included in Office 2000. Here are the basic steps:

    1. Create new message.
    2. Click on the "Options" button on the tool bar.
    3. Check "Use Voting Buttons ".
    4. The drop down will have three options (Approve;Reject, Yes;No, and Yes;No;Maybe). However, you can enter other text, e.g., This is inspired; This really *****.

Once you've completed your message, simply send. You won't see evidence on screen that you're using voting buttons (that I know of), but the recipients will see the voting buttons in the top left hand corner of the email.

    Hope this helps. Steve
