Hi--quick question--is it possible to view a progress meter when sending mail in OE, instead of the non-informative "sending mail" in the lower right corner? When there is an attachment or several images and delivery seems slow, I would like to know whether this is a size issue or a problem contacting the smtp server (which often happens).

Thanks in advance for any info.

Double click the "Sending mail" notice in the lower right-hand corner. That will open a progress meter. To make sure it shows every time you're sending or receving mail, click the little push-pin icon in the lower right-hand corner of that window.

To stop it from displaying, click the push-pin icon again.

If it goes by too fast to get the icon clicked, go to Tools>Send and Receive and click on the name of the account you use. That will display the progress meter window, hopefully long enough to click the icon.
