Can anybody name some? I know Gigabyte has a good one, but I can't think of it off the top of my head. I have Core Temp which is amazing, but I want something more in detail with other things not just the CPU.

Perhaps if you were to clarify what the "etc "/ "more in detail with other things" are?

Hi alijayadv, Welcome to Windowsbbs! :)

If you are looking for a good temperature monitoring program that displays the temps of your various hardware devices such as CPU, GPU, Harddrive, etc. then try out Open Hardware Monitor or CPUID Hardware Monitor.

Are you looking for a real-time monitor that sits in your System Tray (or via Gadget) or something you call up on demand? Gigabyte's is called EasyTune, but note that is for Gigabyte boards only. ASUS calls their version PC Probe. I use CoreTemp (it has a nice Gadget too) but CoreTemp does not monitor voltages.

    RealTemp for Intels is excellent.

I like Speedfan but it commonly fails to put the correct label to sensor - so for System Temp, it might show the CPU Temp. Fortunately, you can edit the labels once you determine which is which. You can use SIW for that, or Speccy from the makers of CCleaner is really good too. It also lets you "publish" your system specs (less any personal information) and provides a convenient link to post to forums for easy review.

Similar to CPUz is GPU-Z - not from the folks who make CPUz, but a nice program in the same light for GPUs.

Everest Ultimate is another good one which when you open > Computer > Sensors > will also show in Task bar (right side) and you can minimize window and display will continue while you work.
If you hover mouse over each figure block, it will display what it represents. Neil.

The problem with Everest (once the standard) is it has been discontinued. And it's replacement, AIDA is not free.

For power you can get something like these:
    thermaltakeusa.com/store/Product.aspx?C=1019&ID=1644
I use this if I want to monitor a gpu or cpu: techpowerup.com/realtemp/

The problem with discontinued HW monitors is they may not properly support the newer hardware.
