Program Manager??

Program Manager>What is it?>Where is it? I was working on my son's PC
And when I had to Control Alt. Del. (CAD) a box came up telling me the program manager was not working , or something similiar. I searched for it and nothing found. Nothing in processes or registry. When I click ok, another box comes up,
saying the same. If I drag the box, it "ereases" what ever is on the screen.
Anybody ever see the before?? Joe R

 

Never seen or even heard of that one before but it sounds nasty.

If you have an XP install CD, I'd suggest
- turn off system restore
- do a virus scan from a good online site like RAV
- click on the start button, then on run, and in the run line put

Code:

sfc /scannow

and let it run to fix any problems it can find.
