Hello, I have a work network and computers have begun to generate this error, I have search the web for answers and even ran an sfc scannow to hopefully repair the issue. However, it has not resolved my problem. Anyone out there know what causes this issue? Anything would be helpful, thanks! All of our computers run Windows XP SP2.

Are any of these computers HP/Compaq or has someone tried to install a HP printer into the network?

Your file, wmiprvse.exe, is legit and in the correct location.

All of our computers are HP or Compaq systems, we have various locations with HP printers including 4250, and 1300s which have been in place. It seems to be an issue with newer HP units we place on the network they are HP 5800s but I cannot figure out what could be causing the Runtime Error
