    Help! I've tried this
    http://home.att.net/~cherokee67/nsprofmgr.html#pmo
and it hasn't helped. I just upgraded to xp from 98. and am having this same problem with the profile manager popping up whenever I start netscape. I'm so frustrated at this point I "m ready to go to outlook and I don't like outlook! I've tried the remedy given in the post above but it unfortunately didn't work. Any ideas? Thanks

    Hi Melissa,

Shall I assume that you are you using Communicator 4.7x?

Do you have multiple Profiles, or only a single Profile?

Have you tried adding a Profile command line switch to your Netscape Desktop shortcut:

Right click on the Netscape shortcut
    Select: Properties
    Click on the "Shortcut" tab
With one trailing space at the end of the Target line, add:
    -P "yourprofilename "
It will look similar to this:
    "C:\Program Files\Netscape\Communicator\Program\netscape.exe" -P "ramona "

Let us know if this helps,

    Ramona :D
