Profile folders vanished. Old HD on new computer.

Hello,

When my old computer died I installed its HD (as 'slave') in my new computer.
Wasn't able to install Netscape (7.1) from the old HD so installed Netscape
7.2 on new HD.

I want to access my emails and address book (and preferably use them from the new HD and remove the old one).

The profile folders seem to have vanished. I have looked at various previous postings to this list and tried to follow the instructions but cannot find ANY profile folders (not on old or new HD even though I have been using Netscape 7.2 for email). The nearest thing I can find to anything that has been mentioned is a file named security_prefs.js on the old HD.

Would very much appreciate any help / suggestions.

In all likelyhood, they are in the documents and settings folder for your profile/account . You will need to "take posssession " of them if you can .
