    3 Issues:

Whenever I try to maximize a video on youtube or elsewhere, I get an error message. I was wondering how I could resolve that.

And there were times when I went into XP mode and I got an error message saying that "integration cannot be enabled" and I got a black screen. I get the feeling that it has something to do with me possibly deleting a crucial file (because I use CCleaner and regseeker to remove unnecessary files). So rather than me having to uninstall XP mode and reinstall it every time, I was wondering if there was a way that I could do a system restore for windows xp mode.

And my current computer has an internal DVD-R drive, and I also have an external one that I used with my previous computer. Nero8 doesn't seem to work in that Windows XP mode as it did on my previous computer. When I use Nero8 and I try to burn something, it won't let me choose a drive from which to burn and it says it's writing on the disc (even if I don't have a disc in the drive) but it clearly isn't since I can't even hear the drives running.

It would help to know what that error message is :)

It is important to appreciate that XP Mode utilises a virtual graphics card - S3, check in Device Manager. It does not use your main graphics card and the virtual card may not support full screen..

I am somewhat puzzled as to why you would want to use XP mode to view videos when you have far better facilities in the host operating system.
Have you paused at the black screen to see if XP Mode loads? The only suggestion I can find is to disable integration features and, following a reboot of XP, re-enable them.

    However .....
I would stop doing that - we do not recommend the use of Registry cleaners except in some very specific circumstances - the rarely do any good at all and can lead to no end of problems.

AFAIK you can use System Restore in XP Mode as you would if XP was the only operating system.
Again I do not understand why you would want to burn from XP mode - that said I think your problem lies in the failure of the integration features. I guess you have checked the settings under Tools > Settings. Multiple CD/DVD drives are not supported - you make the choice under Tools > Settings > DVD drive.

XP Mode is available for 7 Pro and above essentially to give you the ability to run programs which are not compatible with 7 - I would see no reason to use it for anything else.

The reason why I used XP mode for other things like that was because I was so used to that OS and I felt a little more comfortable working in that mode.
When I installed Nero8 in Windows7, it worked just fine :)

Also, I have not gotten the black screen for a while, I made sure that I didn't use ccleaner or regseeker. I used them on my old computer and they made it like new, but they only seemed to cause problems on my current machine. So I refrained from using them.

Also, what exactly are "integration features" and what happens if I disable them?

For an explanation of Integration features go, in XP Mode, to Help > Virtual PC Help (or press F1) and enter Integration in the Search box.
