Problems with .tk sites.

I've had this problem for quite a time now. I've done some research with no luck. I can not view any .tk re-director sites. I can't even visit www.dot.tk.

I'm not sure what the problem is, but many people suggested it's my host (TimeWarner). I am running Windows XP. The urls do not work in any of my browsers (IE, NS, Mozilla).

Any ideas?

 

Hoods--That is a domain selling site, based in Tokelau. Nice place to visit but perhaps not to buy a domain from.

Why would you want to access? Often this type of domain seller is a prime source of malware, though I do not know this is the case here. If you have had good experience with them, then please ignore this.
Of course maybe the site is just having server problems. This (anagram?) happens even in paradise.

 

Look in your windows\system32\drivers\etc for a file named hosts (it has no extension). Open it in notepad and see if www.dot.tk is referenced in the file. If so, delete the line that contains it, save it and close notepad and then see if you can access the site.
