I had problems with my laptop about 2 weeks ago when i had the dreaded blue screen with errors. I managed to muddle my way through sorting it by reinstalling windows however my problem is that all the programs now dont work properly, they are still all saved under programme files, however they are no longer on the start menu. When I run for example adobe cs3 it say their is problems with licensing has stopped working. My problem most of the disk have came from my work and been installed for use at home, so I no longer have the disks. Is there any way round this?

No way around it. Since you did a clean install files will be missing as well as information normally written to the registry.

You'd have to re-install the software.
