I am having problems erasing email from my in box. No matter what I do I can not erase my email. I have tried lot of things without any luck. Is any way to fix this problem. Thanks in advance for any help you can give.

poletown - Welcome to the Board :)

It sounds as if either your Inbox or Deleted Items folder is corrupted.

First make a new folder in OE, say Inbox Copy and drag the contents of your Inbox to there.

Then close OE and search your computer for *.dbx files and locate Inbox.dbx and delete it.

It will be recreated the next time OE is opened - drag the contents of Inbox Copy back into Inbox and delete the Inbox Copy folder.

If this fails to solve your problem delete Deleted Items.dbx - clearly no need to transfer those emails to another folder. Likewise it will be recreated the next time OE is opened.

If either or both of these actions fail to rectify the problem go to Control Panel > Add/Remove Programs > MS Internet Explorer > Change/Remove and select the repair option.
