[problems with oe update 837009]

i am haveing the same problem with oe critical update as another post.windows update keeps saying i need update 837009. i download it.it says it is installed.next scan it is there again. i followed the suggestions in welshjims reply to the other post. no luck.windows update is still saying i need it.i dont have it in the add remove so,i cant uninstall it.i have oe q887797 in the add remove. i installed 2 other updates today.didn't help. i have windows me and ie6 sp1.any other ideas? thanks

 

Delete all temp IE files, be sure to check the option to delete 'Offline content'.
