I somehow, haven't a clue as to how, now have two My Pictures folders.
On the address bar they are shown as follows -

    C:\Documents and Settings\Richard Doenges\My Documents\My Pictures

    and

    C:\Documents and Settings\Richard Doenges\My Documents\My Pictures\My Pictures

The second is very nearly a duplicate of the first but when I save an image to My Pictures, I'm never quite sure which folder it will go to which makes hunting for a particular a chore at times.

I've been uinable to discern a way of printing a "list" as found under View so it is all but impossible to determine where duplicates are.

I guess the question is, How can I combine these two folders back into one folder. When I click Send To - it only refers to My Documents. If there is some simple way ot determining which are duplicates, I could delete them but that still leaves the problem of the others.

    H E L P Please.

You should be able to open the innermost folder, C:\Documents and Settings\Richard Doenges\My Documents\My Pictures\My Pictures and click on EDIT > SELECT ALL > EDIT (again) > CUT > then open the other My Pictures folder > click EDIT > PASTE. You will be asked when it attemps to overwrite each duplicate file. If you look closely and see that the files are identical, allow the overwrite. If you get tired of checking each one and are confident that they are exact duplicates, click "Yes on All" and it should complete rather quickly. Now you can delete the other folder, which will be empty.

Thank you surferdude2 - I knew there was a simple way but my simple mind just could not grasp it.

    You guys are the greatest.
