my xp gives a lot of problem while installing new a big softwares like ms ofice, nokia pc suite, sometimes adobe or any antivius. it keeps repoting error 1335 or sometimes even other eror codes. i have to try repeatedly to instal them or shut down the comp and try at a later time. why is it so.?

2.) i also have ubuntu linux installed in an other partition coz windows gets crashed frequently and attackd by virus. so i use linux for net and pendrives. but wen windows get crashed and i reinstal it, linux wont be shown in boot menu. i'l have to reinstal that too. is there any way that i can stop linux from getting uninstalled

Hi kkph, try a Google on your error code 1335 MS Office and it will show a MS subject with fix and refer to Q314810 as the previous report. Neil.;)
