problems deleting netscape 6 mail

I have netscape 6 and my delete button and my keep as new button are not working. The buttons are also very faded looking. I am still receiving email and I can view it, I just can't get rid of it.
Someone please help!!!!!

Here is the only solution that I have seen work for this problem in Netscape 6:

Close Netscape, and back up your User Profile:

Navigate to
C:\Windows\Application Data\Mozilla\Profiles\yourusername\xxxxxxxx.slt\Mail

Find all files with an .MSF extension and delete.

OR

You can do a "Find" for *.msf

Start|Find|Files or Folders
Type: *.msf
Delete all files found

Post back and let us know if this was successful.

If you still have Communicator 4.x installed, you might consider using it for Mail & Newsgroups. Netscape 6 Mail is very unstable.
