Problem with Solitare Windows '98.

Can somebody please help me my mother is getting on my nerves. On her PC she likes to play Solitaire. She double clicks on the solitare icon or from the programs - accessories - games, icon and it opens with letters and numbers instead of the name solitaire on the title bar, and no cards appear and then it freezes.

I have tried un-installing and reinstalling from the Windows '98 CD, downloading a new copy from the net, and copied my version and tried running from a floppy disk. But its still doing the same thing.

Why is that? And how can I solve it? Its also affecting freecell aswell.

Please help.
