What is your WinXP CD? Standard XP disk or proprietary such as Dell, HP/Compaq or etc.? Did you open My Computer then click Tools > Folder options > View and check Show hidden files and folders, uncheck Hide extensions for known file types and Hide protected opersting system files? You should need to do this step to copy all of the files and folders from the XP disk. Once this is done copy the XP CD to a new folder named XP you have created. I usually do this in the root of C:. It would appear as C:\XP. I then copy my SP2 CD or download and install the Windows XP Service Pack 2 Network Installation Package to a new folder named XP_SP2 in the same location. It would appear as C:\XP_SP2.

After that follow the directions for using Nero to create the slipstreamed disk.
