Hi...

I have a Lenovo 3000 J100 Desktop which was recognising my Freecom Classic Mobile HD 2.5" 120Gb USB perfectly fine - until today.

This may well not be related, but today I installed a Safecom ADSL Modem Router. Now, when I connect the Freecom, I get the message

    USB Device Not Recognized
One of the USB devices attached to this computer has malfunctioned, and Windows does not recognize it.

I've tried troubleshooting this via Add Hardware etc. with no luck.

    I'm running Windows XP Professional.

It still works fine with my laptop (a ThinkPad T60 running Windows XP Pro as well).

    Can anyone help?

    Thanks in advance...

    STEVE.
