Since downloading a windows upgrade, when I send an email it does not show up in the outlook express 6 'sent items file'. Also, freecell does not work properly. I went back to microsoft site, but did not find any help. Anyone here have a solution?

    Hi magnut00
    Welcome to the boards!
    Two things to try:
Go to your control panel...under add/remove...and remove Microsoft internet Explorer.....it should give you a prompt to chosoe to delete or repair. Use repair. Do the same for outlook Express.
For the sent mail......open outlook Express.....go up to tools.....then options......and look under the send tab. Do you have it checked to save a copy in your sent folder?

Hi, Daizy, thanks for the welcome and reply. I have tried both things you suggested - repair internet explorer and the save sent items box is checked - with no luck. I am buffaloed!!!
Thanks again and any other suggestions will be appreciated.

Have you done a recent and updated virus scan lately?
If not....Maybe start with one of the free online virus scanners then?

    Grisoft
    Housecall
    Panda
    Symantec

    And for Trojans.....might I suggest:
    Tauscan

You haven't by any chance applied a filter/rule which results in outgoing mails being deleted? Seems a bit unlikely but ...
