I had a problem with imaging partition to disk originally, but that was fixed by a firmware update from TEAC for my TEAC CD-W512EB. I managed to image my partition containing my C drive and all went well(at least it looked as if it did). Imaged approx. 1.5Gb onto 2 CD's at 70%compression.
Problem: I open Ghost Explorer and see all the imaged files as xxxx.gho - I highlight a file and click open and get an error box stating "Not a Ghost image file" (same in My computer>open from my CD device). Anyone have this problem or know a solution. I think I have cloned my C drive but won't really know till I can actually see a file or files.
    Ghost version 2002.

    Bump!

I guess either no one knows Norton Ghost or has had a problem like this? I seem to be able to image to CD-R(the process goes normally) but when I try to access the CD files I get the "This is not a .gho file. I really would like to create a clone of my C drive for backup and I think I have, but no access means can't really be sure or maybe I haven't done the "do ". Thanks for any comments.

I finally got to the point where I have actually viewed cloned files of my C drive on CD-R. I'm still checking it out and don't have it down pat yet but am working on it. Will check in later.
