Problem with NERO 7

When I am using the Nero Ultra Buffer of Nero 7 Startsmart Essentials to copy a DVD it send me the message that there's a problem reading data from the disk. It happens every time at say 60% of the DVD when NERO is reading the disk.The read/write speed is set to 16X and I'm using 16X DVD-R discs.
I have uninstalled and reinstalled NERO with no success.
Is there a problem with my DVD Drive (SONY)?
Can anybody help me to correct this problem?

 

Try a lower speed I never use max speed, some Media that claim 16X may not be really capable of that speed.
In my experience in making a copy of a audio CD in max speed can often cause problems when trying to play in the car.
Also try and find out the preference of media + or - of your DVD Burner some work better using + other prefer - some it makes no difference but + is usually better.
Rule of Thumb is the higher the speed the more errors readers and writers make.
