Problem with Mouse Cursor!!!

Hi all,

Now and again one of my Users Mouse Cursors goes hay-wire and flys all around the screen randomly closing and opening things!!!

I've seen it happen before and I used to just swap the Mouse, but I've done that and I've downlaoded new Drivers for it, but it still happens.

Any ideas???

I guess you are using a PS2 mouse.
If you change to a USB mouse the problem will go away.

Thanks Keith, but I was hoping for an answer explaining why this could be happening.

Everyone I've asked says that the Mouse is Ka'put and will need to be replaced.

I've also found out that the two mice I swapped around, are probably both broken as both of the PC's still get this problem!

I'll have to order some new ones then.

BUT if anyone apart from Bill Gates knows WHY this might happen, please post or PM me.
