I like windows 7 and I would like to use it more but... Im having a problem connecting to the internet. I have a N-force 3. I have tried the vista drivers, but it doesnt... detect them. I have tried the Network Controller driver from the list but that doesnt seem to work either. Any ideas?

I connect to the internet using a RJ45 cable which goes to my router. The connection is DSL.

I tried the driver but still it does not recognise it.

Still not sure what the problem is? Is it that windows isn't "seeing' your network adapter?

If so, did you try running Windows hardware trouble shooter? Control Panel > System and Security > Action Center > Trouble Shooting.

Try running Hardware and Sound > Network Adapter.

Have you tried going to the nVidia site and downloading Vista drivers for that chipset? I am using Win 7 on two puters, one with AMD chipset, and one with nVidia and no problems with the OS recognizing the network connection.
