    Hi
I used "Improve Boot Performance" for winXP and now I can`t use my PC anymore.
The problem is that it boots but the desktop doesn`t show up, the process stops even before the welcome message. How can I fix this? Can`t use "Safe Mode" eather.
    Please help!

Not sure what you mean by "Improve Boot Performance" did you use bootviz?
Anyway, did you try yo boot to last known good configuration?
You can also try a repair instalation.

    Yes I mean bootvis.
Last known good configuration boot has no effect.
I think a repair instalation is possible only if you get to windows.
What files does bootvis effect because the only things I can do is change BIOS settings and use dos commands with a startup disc?
Alredy played with BIOS settings but no effect and tried to find some clues about bootvis changes through dos.

reapair instalation is done by booting from the WXP CD, and choosing repair from the options.
