I have just reloaded xp, as i had a problem with ie6 not linking with outlook express. That now works ok. Now when i am on a web page and try to link with another section on that site, all i get is a blank page with a small colored square at the top left hand side. any ideas please.

    PeteC,
Thanks for your reply, sorry to take so long for my reply. I have done a bit more checking, and it appears that this problem is only occuring when i link to download a PDF file. Other link pages are ok. Any more suggestions please.

An obvious question, but is Acrobat Reader loaded to your PC? - most sites download pdf directly into into Reader.

If you have it installed try re-installing - v6 is out now.

    Problem with IE6 in XP

    Hi, Graham,
You may have to reinstall the Adobe Reader for IE to recognize the PDF format.
    Regards,
    Werner

    PeteC & werbra,
Many thanks for your reply. I had acrobat reader v5 installed. I removed this and installed v6. Did the job. Many thanks to both of you.

    Regards

    Graham
