    Hi.
Hopefully someone will be able to help me out with what might be a somewhat silly problem.

I'm using Microsoft Outlook Express 5 (Windows 98 SE - I assume). My problem is that some of my emails, when recieved by friends, don't make sense (i.e. instead of normal text they only see jibberish). This seems to mainly affect people with hotmail or yahoo accounts. I have checked all of my settings in Tools and can't understand why this is happening. I have recently upgraded to Microsoft Outlook Express 5 and was just wondering if I'm missing something or just being stupid.

Any ideas would be great appreciated.

Alternatively, go to Tools - Options - Send. Under "International Settings" ensure that Western European ISO is selected. Under "Plain Text Settings" ensure that MIME and not Uuencode is selected and select None for "Encode Text Using ".

An upgrade to IE6 may also help.
